peter, it was awesome. I met a lot of locals, such friendly people! I acquired great respect for the way Tunisians mix western, Arab and Berber cultures. Of course as a tourist I was not aware of any possible underlying tensions, but as it seemed like, it was a wonderful blend of the three cultures. It was interesting to talk to people about their views on god, religion and politics. Nope, no maple trees, unfortunately. But a lot of date palms, instead! We visited an oasis and got a guided tour of the cultured plant species.

Somehitng Strange about these days I get it when I wish it no moreWhats the purpose Grave(To Unwish all my wishes then?) I've posted something similar to this somewhere else on this board but I'll repeat it here too. The act of wishing for something to occur or just plain wishing for something produces that result (you are experiencing the wishing for it... not the getting it) in one's individual experience. When you "wish for it no more" you remove the shackles that held it stuck in wish land and allow it to run its course through your life. Much of the same can be said of people wanting things. To want is to lack so if I say I want a new home I will produce the experience of lacking it in my experience for as long as I continue that train of thought and misuse of the language. People want things for their whole lives and never receive them for no other reason than they do not understand what they are saying to the universe. It provides exactly what one asks for, asked correctly or incorrectly(relative to what the individuals actual desires are), makes no difference.

I am surprised to witness its true. Shimoda said : "imagine like it is already there" What happened to me is: "forget it, you can't have it" Either way, IT COMES. Could mean the same, in a way.. Found this in archives Wrote when I was 16 Tonight When an angel stood bright in front of me And asked what’s my to be
I thought everything but could not decide What’s more important than the most in my life? Angel stood silent for an hour gazing at its home, at the fainting stars.
He asked again as he smiled Tell me your wish before there is no more of this night.
I thought all and I thought of all that, from free rivers to the most expensive hat I want all of it together And to live it forever I want my fantasies to come true
But is it the angel I should be asking to?
To get all that is what the world calls success do I deserve it, while I am at rest? And If I ask for all of it tonight won’t it my biggest failure of all time.
All the wants bring about an urgency in me but I’ll work instead be it slow to be proud of what I’ll achieve
So here me my Angel and here this for this is my wish Smile at me it gives me strength to make my wishes come true so I may not depend
It held my face in his hands, and said it’s the best wish to be. To see a spirit work on its own is indeed a wish of dignity. A spirit that is so becomes as angel like me.
And then we flew to a place so new, and later returned that night to grant someone a wish…..

What a beautiful poem! So wise... How funny, I saw my guardian angel/spirit in a dream when I was sixteen.

The funny thing is, my angel manifested as a guy from my high school class, with whom I almost never spoke, neither before nor after the dream.

What admist this mosaic of bliss , altered silence of forgotten rifts, cemented dawn perceived as an alternate arm detached from thy wrecked vision soley ingrained within this velvet mess, atomic clumped matter spewed from some beloved star imploding within the dream of our kin...when does it begin?...has it begun?........This AtomiC moSaiC .....this void .....Lets have some fun.
