The closer I get to understanding the purpose of this journey, or embodiment, or what ever terms please you, the further away I seem get. It’s like a puzzle: I see the final product, I have a concept and clear visualization of what it should look like, I see the pieces, or a good portion of the pieces anyway, but the pieces are all facing down. Gradually I am able to, with the help of others, turn the pieces up -one at a time. Before long, I recognize a connection between two seemingly opposite pieces – they fit together beautifully. Slowly, a few more pieces are revealed to me and I work to connect them to other pieces of my spiritual concept. The more pieces revealed to me, it seems, the less I have progressed. It’s always “just out of reach.”<br> I have always felt the journey is what counts, not the destination, but at the same time, each new level of understanding is a destination, is it not?

Is there a singular purpose to this Lifetime/Journey? Do we ever stop traveling down the road? And, "[snip] ...the more pieces revealed to me, it seems, the less I have progressed." Maybe, the more pieces that you reveal just increase the size/detail in your puzzle, and show you your potential. Relax... all things will be come clearer in time. Have fun on your path. jedahiah, we are as humans, in a constant state of change with an endless amount of findings placing us in a continual state of flux. we tend to judge our progresion on the knoledge we have attained instead of the wisdom. judge your self on what you can offer to those who share your path. cultivate the bodhisattva wish to attain enlightenment for the sake of all others. within this wish lies a simple puzzle that a compassionate mind will piece together, with the right effort,in a short lifetime. may the path that you tread be bathed in the light of wisdom which leads to the highest understanding so that you can share your learning with those who choose to walk alongside you.
love light wisdom and peace to you my friend

and what is the puzzle, exactly? you neither asked, not answered that one. the higher ability is to know one's own puzzle. to know one's own path in life, purposes, the reason why one is on this pebble of a planet. how many can say that they know this? i can. and more importantly, how many can help others to acheive so?
remember also, that you and i will get off this rock, and it will be sooner than you think.

Is there a singular purpose to this Lifetime/Journey? Do we ever stop traveling down the road? My elders teach that we are never done. Am choosing to believe them, for my heart confirms it. ~Dwayne~
