Hello! Welcome to the slowest paced board on the net! And no, I'm not complaining, only stating a fact.

Hi people... I only just found this website. Just wanted to say hello and hope to make a few new soul friends on the way... Love and Light, Emerald City Hi Edina. I am new to this site also. I look forward to discussing Richard Bachs books and ideas. My current project is trying to adapt Illusions... into a theatrical performance. Any suggestions? James

Well, it can't be an easy task, especially with Illusions. Everyone comprehends it differently. But I'd be one, who'd give it a chance, and go to see it! Are you still in the planning stages or much further?Have you asked RB for permission? Where are you located?

I am still in the planning stage. I am trying to decide how to present it. I will contact Mr. Bach when I have made some major decision. What I need to decide is how to transfer it to stage and keep the theme of the airplanes. I was lucky enough to meet a magician and he said that the illusion I described to him could be done. As you said, the hardest part will be to interpret the book, and decide what I want to say with it. The audience will take from it what they will, but I need to be clear on what my intentions are. I am located in Canada, near Toronto, Ontario
Nice to hear from you.

Oh great! Nothing by chance, right? I guess, I will have the chance to see it, as I live in Toronto! As far as I understood, you're planning to involve some magic tricks, "illusions"?! The magician could teach the actor how to become a "master" and levitate a wrench or even better, go through a wall! Now, that would be cool! As for the airplanes, well some cardboards will do it! LOL Btw, did you know that Bach is coming to Montreal to hold a two day long seminar in May? You could ask the Master there, if he has any suggestions regarding the play! So long!
