Hello...
I've been a reader and lover of Richard Bach's work for over 20 years now, having first read JLS when I was 12. Ever since then I have kept an eye out for his other books and have never been disappointed. This site is as much as I expected it to be but it has left me with one niggling doubt.
By the topics listed and the passion with which some of the submissions are written, it is obvious how much that Richard Bach's writing has influenced you all. I do not think that a writer could hope for a more positive feedback to his own thoughts and ideas but I wonder if he gets nervous.
It is the mark of an artist to be able to change other peoples perceptions with what he offers as being his or her expression. But as any artist would be keen to point out, its only an expression. No matter how strong, how true or how persuasive, it will only be an opinion - sold as nothing more than a story that can entertain, inform and maybe invite the reader to consider the possibilities of another way of existing.
While Richard Bach has covered this concern in many of his books ( the truth is tailor made through experience and perspective ) I am sometimes unsettled by the strength of feeling in some of the postings on this site. Maybe its only the language you use or maybe its written on the crest of an emotional change that one of Richards books has formed but I wonder.
As Mr. Bach would be the first to point out - its all an Illusion. That and nothing more.
