I have always longed to have a real out of body experience. To practice it. To master it.
I find that, often, I'd rather be somewhere else. Some other time. Another place. Another life. What would a taste of that feel like, I wonder.
A thought from a daydreamer.

Yep, I totally agree and have a fair amount of success myself. I used to do it without thinking about it when I was a young kid and now I've just practiced and improved on it. Going somewhere/when entirely different takes alot of imagination and is pretty hard, so start with just being somewhere else in the same room. The best way to start is by relaxing, then staring at a distant apendage like a foot, toe, hand, or finger until you realize that without that foot, toe, hand, or finger you would still be alive and would still be you. Then move on until you realize that without your enitre body you would still be you. It can come in flashes where you see the room and your body from another perspective for a few instants then filckers back and forth. Sustaining it takes practice. Just try it out and tell me if it works for ya.
