Can't say that I did....I don't dream. Or at least that I remember any of them. The nites are blank. I wake in the morning feeling as if I just blinked my eyes and rested. Was a very interesting feeling early on, but am now used to it. Very similiar to when I was in a coma.....blink your eyes and 8 days passed. No feeling of time at all. Or knowledge of anything! Nothingness.

I again dream a lot. Weekends when I sleep long I can remember 4-5 dreams per night. The dreams are long and they always make sense, in strange ways. A lot of times I dream about fashion: wonderful clothes and accessories or interior design/decoration I'd love to have myself and I've never seen before. ;D I don't dream about flying saucers, though...

"If something can be imagined, it already exists."
Interesting thought, but does that exclude everything from existence that hasn't yet or can't be imagined?
Wouldn't that be as egocentric as to say that extraterrestrial Life doesn't exist or that we are alone?
If you look at what's happening on planet Earth you'd think that the human race (yep, generalizing here) is too stupid to look any further than their own interests, which makes "us" egocentrics anyway.
Why does something need to be seen first, or understood first, before it can exist? "Our" scientists pretend to be so clever, and know so much, but old rules are changed and rediscovered all the time, new species of Life are found on THIS planet still all the time.
It takes "us" months and years to make a -for "us"- decent trip in space, but "we" haven't discovered somuch about what's really out there, so I don't think "we" can really tell what's out there. At least not yet.

Hi Thinker, I too agree, the unimaginable "i" already exists. A philosopher would debate: "I would be able to witness the whole unimagined only after I imagine it"... " ..else I would not witness the wholeness.." I partly agree wit the philosopher, but he can be debated out I guess. Grave(I GUESS)

Interesting thought! Extraterrestrials exist in all form possible, since we can imagine them in all forms possible! *moment of epiphany for Bluebird*

I'm afraid it's permanent for me...it's been since '88. Every great once in a while I'll remember a ghost of a dream....so I know I do still dream, I'm just not a part of them anymore. Kinda like remembering a past life. You know you were there, and remember a ghost part of it, but it's not a part of you anymore. That's as near as I can describe.
Quite simply the age old: "if a tree fell in the forest and nobody was there to see it, would it make a sound??" UFO's, or as I prefer to call them, PFOPD's..."People from other Planets or Dimensions", are among us.

If our senses and memory and our idea of perceptions are valid? then I have to tell you....." one day i was in the "woods" with a friend, daniel, and i stoppped when i heard a funny creaking sound.. I held up my hand and whisperd a question.. " Dan? , you hear that"? " What? "listen..." "ooookaaaay, " he said but " for what"? shhhhh, I dont know' listen. Daniel isnt very patient anyway, and when he is going somewhere? he's moving. I heard it again and moved off the path a bit... and there it was... It was thatttttttt tree everyone talks about.... I just started gettting rushes inside . That fun eternity - out of body -laughy tinglingly knowing sensation.... HERE was the TREEEEEE falling in the wooods and we could hear it.... I knew dan saw and heard it and shrugged and said." ok, now we know, lets go' The tree had just started to fall and I asked him if he ever thought this was going to happen again in his lifetime , as a way to try to share how i felt in this moment.... He just shuffffledd his feeet and said ,"Im going to go play the next hole' and took off shrugging at why i thought this was sooooo wonderful.... I watched him go.... we would catchup later .. It took 4 hours to enjoy that moment and i did witness it.... from all sides and from climbling in other treees.... The sound of a falling tree in the woods? It was a living affair... its a nod towards the branches it ggrew tall with... It was a daprature of space.. leaves scraping gooodbye to the near-by oaks

(departure) and i am sure many other mispellings as i race this silly computer to print versus e-void-space where absoluetly nothing returns once you have written it.... ( have you ever thought about all the thoughts and ideas out there that just "wooooooofff!!!!!!" gone. just gone... hmmmm i wonder..
anyway.... the tree turns, slips, its barrk groans, Its brothers and sisters watch without silence as well as they reach out to hold/share/ whisper /shed. bow with the change in one they knew so well, The ground makes noise as well as the wind... its not like its a seperate affair ya know... its the system that makes a sound. and for me... even as a witness, I laid down with its new view, but as slowly as it moved? i moved with it. The bird who used to live here came bye and said "thankyou so much". "my family is so in love with you for our lifeand youre love" Squirrrel and chippy came bye and flys grubs and ants all knew this sound.. and now? I know it too. I wonder if the person who asked that question was a thomas.. ? i wonder how many doubters came from that question. I wonder about alot of things... but whether a tree makes a sound when it falls.. it changes . and all of us make sounds in the world.

Wow..Peter...I'm just a wee bit envious!! A tree falling in the forest and you heard it.....so know we truely know. A tree falling in the forest does make a sound whether someone is there or not! For it made the sound before you heard it.....maybe only a nano second before, but before all the same. What a very neat experience to absorb the falling tree and it's new resting place...... If I may, I believe I can answer this for Peter.....the question was: "If a tree fell in a forest, and noone was there to hear it, would it make a sound?" and the Thomases are the infamous "Doubting Thomases"...... Hence this question by Peter: and this as well: I believe I got that right....please correct me if I'm wrong, Peter.
