eckhart-tolle-forum.inner-growth.info/index.phpThe words say "Freeing yourself from your mind" I guess I would not be free from mind however, my mind can be free from thought. If I am right in my argument here, then there is a serious problem. Grave(considering all aspects openly)

Again, I respond without having read anything about him (I'm at work, no time to read).
I do hope his definition of "mind" is different from mine. Otherwise I'd go with Grave's line of thought and see a serious problem, too.

Bluebird says:
"I equal the mind with my higher self and my soul. In this body my mind is somewhat clouded by restrictions, but it is still my mind = my spirit."
To me: the mind is simply a computer & All arises in the "heart" ... that in which we truly are behind all the illusions.

To me "the heart" is an organ which pumps blood. So Dwayne, I think we're talking about the same thing, with different names.

In elucidating: There is the physical organ, the heart. There is the presence beside that organ, directly in the center, the "heart". Two entirely different things. ~Dwayne~

And that, which you call "heart", I call "mind", or "spirit".

And that, which you call "heart", I call "mind", or "spirit". May I conclude through both of you: That it is not just Heart OR Mind but Heart AND Mind that eventually makes a complete I as I am ? In totlality I Heart=Mind=I=None ;D but always "I"

The brain is to a radio, as the mind is to the radio waves........The lungs are to the brain, as the air is to the mind.

Hey Grave.....actually, if you look at what Falion wrote again about the brain and heart and mind and spirit and think on it a bit more, you might see that in fact he is right. Kinda like "why" and "what"......brain and heart are tangible solid illusions, where mind and spirit are not solid but etheral, which can pass through anything and everything and be anything and everything and go anywhere and everywhere..... humbly presented to you for re-consideration.

The mind and spirtit are like water..when you walk into a room, you become the room, when water isin a glass it becomes the glass, gently flow passive, or wear down in an instant or gradually. WHen two spirits connect like water, they become one.

The thing exists once seen. but I think only in the mind...for each thing omits different meaning of beauty for each person....Beauty is the key, and proof maybe that matter is only the projection of the mind.

My thoughts on this go something like this here......the mind is the creator of thoughts....at this point it's all etheral, like the water in the glass before it hits the glass (even though water itself is tangible, just an analogy for this explanation, building on what Falion was saying) the thoughts from the Mind then transfer to the Brain. Then they become tangible as Solid Thought or "things" if you will. Able to be acted upon or a decision made whether or not to act upon. At that point they are out of the Mind and into the Brain. Mind is spirit and Brain is physical. At least thats what the voice in my head was saying to type on this page!
