Hello, I'm a pilot who has read Richard Bach books, and bought old aviation magazines with Richard Bach articles, and once stood half-hidden in the crowd at an Oshkosh AirVenture book signing not knowing what I would say if I had joined the long line and made it to the front. I have however been thinking about flying. And stuff. Connecting dots and seeing what picture emerges. I put some thoughts online last month and would love for some feedback. www.Hikoudo.com Sam Hamilton's Art of Flying ~ Way of Zen No commercials, no banners, no spam, no frames. Just one guy grooving with gravity. One with the wind. Thank you for you time and consideration, -- Dave

Hello, Dave.. (sounds a bit like HAL 9000! I have been looking over your website. My immediate response was: "Wow.. a dreampage! Buddhism AND flying ?!" I am into both myself, and I think you have done a hell of a job combining the two. I was so eager to write you this response, I didn`t take the time to look at all the stuff, but for now I printed some of it, and I surely will sit down with a cup of coffee and take my time reading it. There was a discussion board in there too, right? Well, it`s definitely added to my favourites. I have been through ATP training, but life decided my career was elsewhere, and today I am mainly buzzing around smaller grassfields in various machines. You know the russian two-seat trainer YAK 52? Great plane, lots of aerobatics and fun, and simulated dogfights with other "airheads". I usually carry a copy of "Illusions", and sometimes a genius of a book, "Zen for travelling", a tiny, beautiful book for casual use. Lots and lots of wonderful summer afternoons in the shade of some wing, sitting around in the grass reading... Anyways; keep up the good work, your website is nothing short of wonderful. Count me in as a daily visitor. Thanks. B

Wow!, Hey Dave that is a very interesting site. I too will visit it. You pilots - sure have a view - from above the clouds. Much different than a cornfield... smh!
