Does anyone know whether there are any plays in print that have been written by Richard Bach; or any plays that have been adapted from any of Richard Bach's books? Please let me know ASAP. Thanks.

I don't believe that Richard is into plays. His mentor, Ray Bradbury is though. Do you think that some of his material would be adaptable to a play? Interesting thought at that.
Illusions is supposedly being made into a movie as was Nothing By Chance and Jonathan L. Seagull.

Yes! I have seen a play by Richard Bach "Jonathan Livinston Seagull". It was cold "Fantasies on the subject of Richard Bach". It was fantastic! It's on every two weeks in Kiev and the hall is always overfilled.

Flyboy,
Was "Nothing by Chance" really made into a movie? I did not know this. Do you know which production compnay, and/or if it's available on video?
Regards, Maes

Hi.
"Nothing By Chance" was a theatrical documentary shot in the Summer of 1973. It had its world premiere in Seattle in the Summer of '74 and had a short run in the theatres - but that was the end of it. I understand you could get VHS copies through a Pilot's supply house about fifteen years ago - but the movie is no longer for sale - though there is a chance it may become available in the near future.
The film starred Richard and 6 of his real-life Barnstorming friends. Hugh Downs was the producer & Narrator.

Yes, Anon has the right information. I tried to catch up with Richard as he was filming some place in Iowa and was not successful. In the book, he ends by the accident on I-80 when I went along with Betty and Richard to take the biplane apart and return to Ottumwa after the hitch tore away from the pickup's bumper.
Never having seen the movie, I do not know how he ended it. I thought that it would be neat to appear in the film, even as an extra. But no such good fortune.
If anyone knows where a copy might be found, I would enjoy finding out.

One thought that I forgot to mention regarding Nothing By Chance, the movie. It was about the same time that the movie, The Great Waldo Pepper came out starring Robert Redford. I think, but am not sure, that Redford's film stole a lot of interest away from Richard's movie.
