A Question [glow=Teal,2,300] Spirits of my nature, born free, travel in wild and green; a universe they want to see. Only one among the million me, then asks the rest in eternity: "A weightless notion, pulls me to the center of rotation. When the world turns around and round, in such a blur constant, how do my eyes are yet stationed ? What is behind the mist I want to see? Is it someone else or someone like me? The blizzard of spins afloat, subconscious sets my lesser imaginary into the most. The questions I ask do not answer on their own. But If all is and isn't as defined and said. Must I quit my existence and travel to exist among the lower similars of high ? instead " Exist! Do I persist? Do I? [/glow] Grave (The ordinary)

I have a question for ya... Why would nice people, as you seem to be, chose such a nickname? And OK, we will all die, but since we are still here, shouldn't we be thinking about life?

You have a very good Point. Names define people, then, when people learn, they define a name as per their learning that suits the new-self(for me may be) Talking about death is to diminish its name, and see it beyond its title. We dislike or are more afraid of the word 'Death' than death itself. Life is beautiful and becomes even more when we relaize this truth. (we become free form fear of it-atleast have some success) Grave(A name that tells me to remember some things about me that I should remember.. at the moment )

Thank you very much Falion. I thought so too. 1) How do I claim that I am an advanced soul without ignorance and ego? 2) To entitle a soul as 'Advanced' would also mean to draw a line among souls? Very good questions, Grave. I've been troubled by them, myself. Somehow, when someone lets me know (directly or indirectly) that s/he is an advanced soul, my first thought will automatically be, "if you were, you wouldn't acknowledge yourself like that". I believe humbleness is so important, to realize how much we still have to learn, no matter how much we think we know already. There may be souls that are more "advanced", but not because other souls are any less, but because they won't allow themselves to remember what they already know.

To me it all smacks on a "ranking" system. These people who go around saying " I'm an advanced soul, listen to me"......yeah, whatever. In the orient, when one started training in defense, one was given a belt to wear around their simple tunic. The belt was white. They never washed the belt during their training process. It eventually became black. In America we bastardized that process...as we bastardize everything we touch! And in doing so, lost something precious. I believe it was the humility in ones knowledge. When ones belt became black, one was then a master. A master does not need to go around saying " I am a master" it shows in his bearing, words, manner of words, actions, deeds...e.t.c...in short, in his living. But here, when one gains his "black belt" he still has to go around saying " I am a black belt"......there is no humility in that. As some know, humility is a great strength. When it is gained, one is powerful. Masters don't say they are masters, Masters are Masters because they are Masters. And it shows.
Just some thoughts! ;D

Masters don't say they are masters, Masters are Masters because they are Masters. And it shows. ;D My first thought will automatically be, "if you were, you wouldn't acknowledge yourself like that". I believe humbleness is so important. Yes. I too oppose. I look closer and I guess I also feel hurt when he/she would claim of being advanced(that means I am behind him/her) This automatic retaliation is my ego? Only now, I try to let go and try to say "ok you are… have fun" but I used to challenge the proclaiming advanced souls with my questions, not to prove that he/she is not yet advanced, but to show that I am too(may be more than it, and yet I don't claim..look at me-The more Advanced) I feel embarrassed. This problem is not much but still there. ;D For this reason, I busted so many guru-ashrams. They threw me out everytime . Why do I oppose if I am advanced? For if I am more, and know that soul claiming isn't, I would not tell this to it because I'd keep in mind that the soul (a not so advanced) may not like to know this. Grave(the crazy one)

Hmmm... so true, Grave. I think if someone claims to be advanced, I'd like to say "I hope I am, too", but that would sound like I were a complete ass. ;D So maybe it is a problem with the ego? I'm sure I have to learn to deal with those kind of situations still, to feel confident enough about myself and not to feel any need to point out at what stage of advancement I am.
