What a surprise! Thanks for the photos, Bruce. You look kind of familiar, are you an actor? What movies or TV shows have you played in?

any of you ever viewed "Always" by Speilberg ? it's not exactly like any particular RB flying book, and it's actually a Speilberged remake of some movie from the 40's. But the charactures, and the general feel of the film, and of course those planes, are really great. As if the people in the film are from some place just down the road from RB's world, and he might walk through the front door at any moment.

Good Morning Bruce, Lizanne here: Rather than figuring out who you are in "physicality", or worring 'bout what you look like, or even what your name is, I have some questions for you, if you will? 1) As I recall, you desired this "roll" since you were 9 years old. Can you please relate to me your experience with the book ILLUSIONS, and possibly you have stated this elsewhere, and I have missed it, however, if we can keep it here in one place, it will be easier to contemplate, and so: Tell, me about the characters that you have been considered for, and if you have already been chosen ;D for a particular part, please relate to me your vision of your understanding of that part. pahleeeze! Consider this: I am a moviegoer, and maybe I have heard of RB and the book Illusions, but have not read it, so this will be my first experience of such things.... Take your time, K? Smiling all the way "over the...........rainbow, l ::)ky yonder there's the pot of gold!" Lizanne333

Bruce, I am a commoner, K. Let's pretend I know nothing 'bout the book. Fresh off the street, heard about this movie that is the talk of the town..Hmmm, maybe I will consider going to the theatre, and see what everyone has been talking about. I am a regular human being, with lots of "stuff" shall we say, I buy my popcorn and find me a great seat, and wow the theatre is absolutely packed, and I feel the excitement and the anticipation........ Tell me, Bruce, what will I see? What do you hope to portray to the public in a way that can reach as many people as possible, so that they walk away pondering...the essence of your perfomance staying with them in such a manner that they either go see you again ;D(more$$$$), to attempt to understand themselves via your performance? Hopefully this is clear? -L

Dear Lizanne, Am still a bit lost here. If and when this story gits put up on the screen, I think most of us are hoping the true essence of Richard Bach comes through. Have to admit, none of this is clear p.s. Please read the book -B

Bruce says: And so, dear Bruce, I am very familiar with ILLUSIONS, ask anyone here. I am a product of them..... So, and then I will assume that the filming is one of the operations of a WING & A PRAYER, and no one knows what the end result will be, is that correctly understood? thanking you in advance for your time and your patience with my questions.... -L

Lizanne- Bingo Sherlock!! Please note: I never said that "Bruce St. Martin" was carved in time as definately the face of any of these charactors Just that I thought the actors would be "stumbled on" B

Concerning the deletion of recent posts...
Could you please take your non-topic related conversations somewhere else?
There are several other topics on the board for chit-chats.
Thanks.

I'm sorry but I've been a big Richard bach fan all my life, since i First picked up JLS over 30 years ago as a 14 year old, but, my wife died three days ago and I feel it's all a lot of hooey. If there is any divinity within man, if there is some degree of cosmic guidance then I think it comes from some sort of then I'll stand on my left testical. My perception has undergone a rather radical change you see it's all b*******. So all I can say Richard is a beautiful philosophy but it's crap.
