Elves! He said out loud ! You are the the cynical voice I hear when I ask a silly question? All this time I thought I was going mad and now I find out it's elves..?
She smiled briefly, but then as the breeze whistled through the hollow of the tree, there was what seemed to be a distant vibration...

He looked to his shoulders again. The elves were gone. "Where did they go?" he asked.
"They were never really there."
"But I saw them," He insisted. "Are you telling me I'm imagining them. Am I imagining you as well?"
Their hands touched once again in a similar fashion. Palm to palm. Tip to tip. And then her hand melted into his.

The vibration once seemingly outside of him, gradually resounded deep inside him as their other hands also touched palm to palm. Tip to tip. Now these too, began to melt together. Now they were face to face. Both of them seem to flicker with the candle.
