Could you please expand on this? What kind of powers are you talking about? Why wouldn't we be created equally, when we are all ONE? Isn't it up to us how far we go, how much we learn in each lifetime? Just because someone decides to live a stagnant secular life, does that mean that person doesn't have the potential to live a productive spiritual one? Or hasn't had reached a higher spiritual level before? Sorry for all these questions at once, I just don't know what and how you meant it exactly.

Through each life we gain knowledge. some life forms here (people) have not learned as much, or have learned more than other spirits. Some are not as "spiritually" powerful as others due to a lack of or a stagnant exisitence in previous realities...If one commits muder throughout a life-time, living in utter evil, convincing their soul this lifetime is a damned dimension and thus sucked into a horrific existence, his next life (reality, room, dream, change of scenery, paragdim shift) will offer no spiritual advancement, or spiritual knowledge, i.e. powers...The Ones who have been enlightened in this life, for surley not all here are (or simply not aware of it) are possesed with a mission to instruct those of "unequal"...These folks are sometimes called messiahs...We beings are of equal substance from the same source, though some each at a different level of spiritualness....."Perfection is being there", Richard Bach said. Some need instruction , for they are not.....these I refer to as "unequal".

Thank you for the explanation, now it's more clear to me what you meant. What you're saying is all based on the philosophy of Zen Buddhism. If I'm correct... if not, please correct me. Or roshis (Zen masters)?

Ive never thought of it as deriving from any specific philosophy. Zen is very similar, but more concerned and concentrated on the "NOW" of life, and The "VOID" of nothingness..Did you know Some Monks are able to keep one thought in their consciousness for hours at a time!! talk about control of the void! ...Samurai philosophy have taught warriors to enter the VOID, a realm of altered perceptions when when in combat..Its very difficult, and for many takes decades of practice. To have an object closest to you be far in the distance, with that in the distance closest to you..Is one example of the type of altered mode exhibited, Its very useful not only in Martial Arts, but also in everyday life.

Yes, I knew. It is called a 'koan'.
Haven't told you, but my uncle is an Aikido teacher (master) and I'm also taking World Religions as an elective to spice up my boring business program.

As I said, I'm taking this course to jazz up my schedule at school, and learn about what millions (if not billions believe in), and not because I want to convert to any of them, just want to make this clear before anyone (read this Eric ) jumps at me. Nevertheless, YES, I also find many of them quite fascinating, and useful the knowledge that I gain in class, especially when it comes to discussions like this. ;D Though I have to confess, I've learned a lot about Zen in the past, as I was very close to my uncle while growing up.

Zen Is the core. For ME.The beauty of it is its simplicity..."Zen Flesh, Zen Bones is like my bible. A departed friend of mine's dad (whew!) is a theologist, He says Jesus Christ Visited India and studied under the first Zen patriarch , Bodhidharma, who brought Zen to China from India, before Jesus gained followers, Jesus's teachings 'n' preachings were distorted over the centuries to what is now christianity and its tentacles..He also told me None of the original writers in the Christian Bible were directly associated with Jesus, only one was an aquaintance...hell, the religion wasnt created till about a hundred years after jesus's death!..They dont tell you that stuff in church sunday school!

Pheww!!! If I let all my friends in a room, there would be bloodshed in just matter of seconds over this topic. If you click on the topic titled 'The Bible' in the Spirituality section, you'll find/read one of my friends replies concerning Jesus. For this very reason, let me just refrain from commenting on this matter. If you want my honest answer, to me it's just a technique of meditation that one is free to choose to learn, and possibly pursue enlightenment by in this lifetime.

hmmmmmm......Grave? What's happening?? If you wish to exit this life plane, learn how to leave your body first. Then, simply don't come back. But I would suggest sticken around for a bit, Life gets rather interesting when you can turn the corners on the paths that we travel! I've been thinking allot about how to choose my own time of leaving, rather than leaving (death) by accident. But you know? Everything is just so darn interesting that it will probably take an "addicent" to make me leave!! Don't pull a Dwayne on us Grave, I for one like you, as I liked Dwayne. You have allot of wisdom to share. To, Jt Thank you, in all this space we are never far, including our good friend Dwayne. I don't wish to Exit Life plane, I wished to exit "The Play" at will. But I think, my need for this power is not my willingness to grow, but ego. Then I wonder, what have I learned at all So I start al over again (like running around in circles) Sometimes Jt, One can also become tired of being a Soul Grave (With Love: The Only wisdom- I know nothing and you know it all)

We are here because Our souls are adavnced.............and instruct them to life's true flight!. Thank you very much Falion. I thought so too. 1) How do I claim that I am an advanced soul without ignorance and ego? 2) To entitle a soul as 'Advanced' would also mean to draw a line among souls? 3) "To Help" is an assumption that one is good enough to help someone, while to Serve, is humbleness (may be with some traces of ego in general). I won't learn if I presume I know, I would follow the road outside (books, old and new philosophies, New age metaphysics, Sciences, flexi-Religions etc), however, I can only trust that I know and follow road inside (the us) I literally wished to change my friends, they started to think that I am wise, but I started to realize what a fool I am to push them towards my ideas even though they did not wish so. Each of us completely know who we are I guess, we are just playing. - to exit the play at will - "A messiah might be aware that he is a Messiah, but should he know that he is?"Grave(a fooled role-play)
