HI!! I am new to this site, and new to these Forums. I was just wanted to possibly talk to some of the people that went to see Richard Bach in Colorado. I thought that it was a wonderfull experience. I got to talk to him a little bit while he was signing books. I have been going through a very rough time in my life. Right now it seems like the dragons are winning and I know that there is the tool box, but I am having trouble getting in, to use those tools to fix my WOA. If anyone would like to chat about this I would love to talk about it. thanks. P.S. I would love to hear some of the experiences people had and what they took out of these talks.

Both of you, welcome to the forum! Were you be able to attend both Friday&Saturday's talk/workshop? Please tell us about them a little more! How did they start? What exactly did you discuss and learn there? How many people have attended? etc. etc. Lostlove, I truly hope you'll be able to use that toolbox and fix that problem you're facing with. If you don't mind talking about it more, please do so!

I am not very good at expressing myself. So I hope that I do ok on this. The first night he talked about how at any time the is a infinit number of Universes happening at the same time. With every decision that make takes us down a diffrerent path. And what has happened to us in this time and space is we are hypnotised, and that we have to unhypnotise are selves. When we have become hypnotised have given are consent to it. What we have to realize is that "WE can give our consent or withdraw it at anytime." WE create our own WOAH "World of Appearences, the h is silent" That was form this speaking. There is only 1 principal in the universe " LOVE IS" everything derives from that. Our perception is ours. We do not create our own reality we create our WOAH. " We our limited to to nothing but to the limit of our perceptions. We have to set our agenda, turn or the negatives to the positive. I am sorry if this is not to flowing, I thought that I would throw out pointsthat I got, and I thought the more stuff that I could throw out the better this discussion thread could be. Most of this is things that he said. He said that we our limitless creatures, " We are the otters of the universe, WE our limited because we choose to be limited. WE love to overcome our "Dragons" we like to go to the edge just to defeat our dragons. One of the things that greatly impressed me is that he never said that someone was wrong, he may not agree with it. But that was ok because that was there WOAH. He called this gathering a family renuion. Truth is what we accept is valid for us. We are not pawns. Some more things that he said was, "Most of us don not apply what we dont belive. He also talked about how much animals express ther true love, better than most humans. Which bring the question, are animals actually more advanced that us? Hmmmmmm!! WE dont have to give our consent to anything. Nothing can stand in our way to our highest sense of our selfes, but us. Our greates teacher is ouselves, we have to ready to learn.. I know that this might of jumped around. But once again I thought the more that I could get out ther the better this discussion could be. And I am sorry if I have made some mistakes. I was pretty overwhelmed and was being sucked in and tried to write down as much as I could to gather as much as I could to share as much also. Sorry about the length of this, but if you would like to hear about the next day I would gladly share as much as I could.

Bravo!
This is alot of oformation in one post, but it does serve as a perfect outline of Friday evenings discussion. I have the audio tapes from the conference, both friday and Saturday, and have been reviewing them today. WOW, what a brilliant man.
Richard was very personable, and took time to speak to people individually after the sesion. I waited for 2 hours after the Friday sesion ended and then spent about 30 minutes one on one with him. It was to me the most sacred moment I can remember.
Most folks were locals, there were about 800 friday night abr about 400 saturday. There were 2 people from Japan, and one guy from Lithuania. One man from North Carolina, a guy from Texas, and me from Georgia. Those were the only ono-locals that I discovered, although I am sure there were more.
I believe that tapes of the sessions can be ordered by contacting the church, there is a number for their media office listed on the web site.
Sabryna was there, but he was very careful to protect her identity from the crowds.
More later!
Ask questions!

I'm so happy someone was there and is now willing to share with us. Did you notice anything "new" in his thoughts? Something that might have evolved after he wrote his more philosophical works? Perhaps some new ideas that have again changed the way he sees the world? I'm asking because a lot of what you wrote is (however brilliant) also in his books already, and I'd love to hear what he's been thinking since he published his last books. Please tell us about what he discussed on Saturday!

HI: To everyone that responded. I greatly appreciate it, and you dont know good it makes me feel, to have people respond to what I wrote ( which was really what Richard talked about and me just trying to pass some of it on). It is nice to have someone or multiple people at least a little interested in what I had to relay. Most of the stuff, as Bluebird pointed out was from his books. I will try to put more details out from friday. I will also write about the highlights from Saturday ( I have a lot). My first post was to try to get a lot of information out to everyone, so it would ( I hoped create some creative, thought provoking, and insightfull conversations). I will write about what happened Saturday, trying to kind of give you a"time line" on how things went, I will try to get as much info to you again. Once I get the majority, I will try to come in with a little more details. And get to more specifics. Talking about De-hypnotising ourselves. Once again thanks to everyone who responded. It does mean alot to me that, people showed interst in my first venture into something like this and that I may be able to help ( in what little way that I can) start some thought provoking actions and talks. Thanks. I will post Saturday a little later. Thanks again. I will leave right now and give you a couple thoughts from Richard : If someone says oh thats "To good to be true- "NO IT ISN'T"". Or someone say ""Nobody is perfect-"YES THEY ARE"" Because "I(WE) AM A PERFECT EXPRESSION OF LIFE, NOW"

Have you not heard of the terms Waking up, Awareness, Awakening?
I think this may be what RB is referring to. I have been hearing it now for several years here in Oregon.
While in my period of waking up, people could "see" my process without my informing them of what was going on. I would receive comments such as "Welcome to Planet Earth". At the time, still not fully awake, groggy, I thought what in the world do they mean. I knew a change was occuring in me, but I still wasn't aware that it was that I had been asleep while I was alive here on this planet. I wasn't aware that it was so obvious to other individuals who had already awakened. That was maybe 2 years ago.
Now more fully awake, but still not 100% in my body, I have noticed so many changes. I can now "see" into people. I can "see" who is awake and who is not. I can "see" and tell by language and body language, where that individual is in their own process of "removing the hypnosis", or the non- present moment Basically it has to do with AWARENESS. An awakened, alert awareness of many internal processes and also increased coincidences externally.
Comments such as unreal-not-real are used to describe those still asleep or hypnotised. Separated from their own internal processes, internal identification with past internal tapes, and cloaked in an idenity that has possibly been projected upon them by others, such as parents.
Guess it is the shedding of all of these old skins, which is necessary in order to build a more immediate, alive, ever changing, fluctuating, sense of self- no longer living an illusion (hypnosis).
Still in process myself, but surely on the way to becoming a fully integrated adult human being with all possibilities available to me.
Just a run on here, but it is hard to explain. Others of you that have had this experience, please, how do you help others understand what it means to wake up, and how do you provide them a thumbnail guide, which they can intellectually understand and begin to implement?
Would truly appreciate your ideas on this.
Wish Dwayne was available.

I used to have some experiences that could relate to what you describe, Lizanne. I think they would be more in the group of "stirring in one's sleep". When I was about 15-17 years old I used to get these feelings of unreality. Like someone planted me inside a body. I was watching my hands move like they were someone else's. I could move my body as it were a vehicle, not "me". These sensations came mostly when I was alone. I remember having them ever since I was little, but that one year or so I had them constantly.
I remember one weekend was exceptionally bad. I was trying to study for a physics exam and my father was trying to help me. I was battling with the physics, as well as with trying to feel home in my body. It was terribly scary and in the end I just collapsed and started crying. My dad didn't understand, of course, he thought it was all the hard physics calculations. I wrote a lot about it in my diary, too. I guess it doesn't sound so terrifying now that I explain it to you, but then it was. I wondered whether I was going insane.
These days I've learned to live with the feeling, and I get it less and less, too. After those times I experienced a sort of spiritual awakening, where my perception of the world changed radically. With my new philosophy and perception it wasn't difficult to understand and accept the sensations I had. However, I wouldn't say I'm completely awake until I understand and am able to control my mind totally, without the inhibitions this body comes with.

Lizanne, I think you described it quite well! Thank you. :)If I understood it well, it's the process of getting to become one with one's core (soul) again. It's like peeling an onion, getting rid of all the layers, all other identities and roles that parents, friends, this WORLD have projected upon us since birth (in this lifetime). If that's what you and Richard meant, I'm doing just that as well. I would just like to know, IF Richard went into this any deeper and talked about the 'HOW'.

getting rid of all the layers, all other identities and roles that parents, friends, this WORLD have projected upon us since birth (in this lifetime). I think that's an ambitious desire, Edina. It would be great to be completely pure, free from those roles, but when you think of it, we all play a different role to every single person we meet. The role we choose depends on first impression, what we want to achieve and how that person responds to our actions / words. Therefore, I believe it's only possible to shed the roles other people have cast on us. To get rid of the habit of taking on a different role would be wonderful, to be so true that everyone sees me the same way.
