I have just checked some of the other postings under the other headings in this forum.. and I have found that one of RB's sons (Jonathan) (same as one of my sons!) wrote a book called 'Above The Clouds'!! Who says that things don't happen for a reason! I had no idea that any of his children had become authors in their own right...I am so pleased that I managed to stumble across this forum.. and what is really nice about it is the fact that the postings are so very personal to their authors!

Jo Says: Hi Jo, I have cheated here and re-posted your entire note! I'm supposed to be conserving space! Hi Edina! ::)whoops! Jo I feel such a warmth in the way you write! I am not privy to the information re: RB's childrens authorship. Edina, however, knowsssssss everything! Let's rattle some pie tins at her! ;D If we're lucky, maybe one of them will post here for us. But beware! It is always a guessing game as to who is who. I still don't know! Stay warm, and enjoy! -L P.S. Have you checked out under topic The Man=pg2=Why doesn't anyone know about Richard's Kids?

Lizanne.. if you check through all the other forums here you will see all the postings regarding RB's sons....and some, it would appear, actually from them themselves... I wish everyone the best day ...learn (with an open mind), grow (with an open understanding) and smile (with an open heart)!

I am happy for you Jo! Enjoy the sunshine, and the warmth... We here in Southern Canada, are waiting patiently for things to settle down in the weather department....We get a tease, and then back to cloudy, drizzly and coldish.
And I loved the movie! I can't tell you why at this point, as I watched it too long ago to remember detaiils... For me it did not take away from my imagery, but added someone else's take to it...and I think I was fascinated by how they portrayed certain parts of the book.....
I admit to being much more upset by other attempts to film my favourite books, than I was by that one.

[shadow=red,left,300]We get a tease, and then back to cloudy, drizzly and coldish[/shadow]. Exactly the same here! But today has been absolutely superlative! Although I can't help worrying about the old Global Warming question every time it gets very warm!

Hey Jo,
Lizanne here. I sure appreciate you, and if I may quickly share with you the state of my affairs, as I am tired and need sleep, here.
Yahhhhh, it is still up a skosh too high, and yes just a bit lower than it should, but I am more and more aware of the temperature gauge, and my fingers on the classical guitar, been 30 years since I tinkered, flew like crazy finding their own way into a beauty for as long as I didn't think about it.
But then am not using any air-conditioning here, as it has been raining too. Tomorrow will ask the weatherman if airconditioning may be necessary, but I don't think he will see it in his forcast. Air conditioning is so expensive anyway, and money is tight, and so, never did well with it anyway.........Jo, here's hoping that tomorrow is a good day, huh? not necessarily realllllllllly hot, and heck, forget this cold rainy stuff, ya kno?
Stay in touch, got my computer back ;D

Loved this film for its soundtrack! And as a Neil Diamond fan I know that he incorporates a section of JLS in his recent tour, footage of seagulls flying and all. It's superb! As for the climate in Scotland, I've just heard that Aberdeen today is expecting an unprecedented 24 degrees Celsius!!

Hi you! Been wonderin if I would hear from you again! How are you! The weather in Corvallis today is also drizzly! But I don't mind too much, 'cause we're short on water this year. Plus, I don't have to get outisde and continue the never ending project of painting my house It is the second oldest house in Corvallis, and the 2nd President of Oregon State University's house. He was a confederate soldier .....1868 I love this old house, but every window needs re-glazing and it seems that I just never get it all done.....But I planted beautiful pink climbing roses along my picket fence line, yellow ones over an archway, and a new variety that both looks like and smells like a gardenia. Neil Diamond has always been one of my favorites in my late teens and early 20's. My favorite narration of JLS was done by Richard Harris. I believe I heard the record first, and then saw the movie and then read the book. When I was 27 I managed a dental office in San Francisco One of our patients, and I don't remember his name right now, was on the plane as the filming of JLS was taking place. We had a lengthy discussion. He was the first person to tell me that I "see". I remember how profound that experience was. To know I "see" and have it verified by another. Ah well, memories, memories. Hoping this letter finds you well and happy, and have once again have enjoyed the clear, steady, sound of your voice. love, Lizanne ::)l
