If a bird, for example, should observe a stone fall into a pond, it sees every ripple emanating from it.

Its called symbolism. look it up in the dictionary. You obviously never read, or have been exposed to zen-taoism..treat yourself to it, you'll educate yourself in the process........."think too much"? thats as bad as saying "I cant", or saying "I should"...you've got the wrong forum bud.....Im sure there are other forum's for non-thinking singers... P.S its spelled "concerned", sing has only one g....and im "Falion"

Falion,
hey, what if you checked your Inbox.
Now, that you probably know?, I am still not biting your hook.
Would it not be better to be a bird who may or may not be concerned with human entanglement, than a human being of internal conflict, who if he would just let go of the struggle, he might singg as a bird?

Hopefully Falion You are feeling a bit better? I read your response after my lengthly post. Truly, what I experience here on the forum is ONLY myself. If I am in a bad mood, I "read into" the posts of others "put downs", insults, ignorance, etc. I have found that it is ME; it is MYSELF that interprets others' words as insulting, etc. So the originator of the post may have only wanted to offer a loving hand, but I turned it into a put down, because of my "pre-disposition" to argue, because of the raging argument/conflict occuring inside of me. I hope, and with the highest regard and deepest respect for you, as you are ever becoming more and more real!, that this helps, Lizanne Funny, as I was posting another, I looked at the time of this post Falion, and guess what? It was posted @ 3:33! A coinkadink! Lizanne

Again I think of the four insights that were discussed earlier on this forum, and especially one of them that's so hard to live by: "do not take anything personally". Nobody can know exactly what your world looks like, so nothing anybody can say is justified to do you any harm. Just reminding you Falion... Not that I'd be able to live by it myself!

Bluebird says:
Not that I'd be able to live by it myself!
Nor could I, Bluebird! The moment I think I stand on my own behalf, is the moment I fall flat on my face!
Is this humility???Or to even "own" humility, is that not also a source of pride??
A pearl of wisdom, do you have one, BBirdee
Thank-you Lizanne
