My My My....what tangled and interesting weaves you humans make. The answer is quite simple, really, it's...... LOVE!! Love yourself, love your beliefs, love your life, love your earth ship, love the people around you,,,,,and the list goes on and on and on and.........
If it looks like a rattlesnake, if it smells like a rattlesnake, if it rattles like a rattlesnake, if it coils like a rattlesnake, if it strikes like a rattlesnake, if it poisens like a rattlesnake.....THEN IT MORE THAN LIKELY IS A RATTLESNAKE!! Whay pick it up and examine it and play with it and try to figure it out if it is what it is??? I really don't understand why someone would want to read the Satanic bible, or deal with anything that is proven to be satanic. There is a Power for good and right and positive in this universe and there is an equal power of bad and wrong and negative in this universe. There is always, in all things, a positive and a negative. It's balance. When you roll in the dirt, some will come off on you. Plain and simple. I've never known of anyone who can roll in the dirt and stand up spotless. Some will always stain you. The same goes for dealing with anything from the dark side, some will come off on you. So why mess with it at all if one is supposedly of the Light?? But then, maybe not all are of the Light? For the Dark can be very very subtle. Beware and becareful of what you "roll" in, for some will always come off and attach to you.

JTwolf, I would like to observe "the dirt". Not roll in it or mess in it, but get acquainted with it. I personally cannot live my life constrained to one side of any story, even if it was the "good side". I need to learn about both sides in order to get perspective. Perhaps perspective is the "dirt" that gets stuck if a being of light touches the dark side?
I believe that we all are good by nature. Darkness is around to balance us and give perspective, and we're free to choose it if we wish. However, no soul is bound to go to the dark side just because of the balance of the whole.

And I wonder why we "FEAR" or "HATE" Dark.. Do "we"? Do "we" have anything to fear if we know we are by nature good beings? I'm sure there are some beings who think they are good, but could be tempted into the dark for some reason. Personally I've never been tempted in that direction, so I can't wholeheartedly say that I could withstand the temptation (even if I would like to be able to say that), but I tend to think of myself as a good person (I'd leave it to other people to categorize me definitely) and at this point in my Life I can say that I do not fear or hate the dark. I actually think that darkness also has its beauties. But then again, I'm looking at darkness as a physical presence (as the light of day is a physical presence), not as a mental threat.

The bad, dark or whatever, to me, is around to give a perspective. Without it, how could you ever know what the good, light is? If all there was was light and goodness how would you ever know, or experience it? You could not, unless there was something to the contrary present. So there is nothing to fear by it when one understands that it is a tool that can be used to define oneself as light.

The darkness of life is only a mask we wear for fun...to add mystery, and a sense of deception...

Yea LL, In some sense we really do not need to define Light and Dark. An by the way.. I met some statanists over chat. They were not at all like what I thougt them to be. They seem to be as deeply enlightened as any one on richard bach forum.. (compliment to you guys ) Specially with the understanding : "we are free to do whatever we want to do" Though they worship satan as GOD..more or less I learnt a lot.. they seem to be much comfortable with idea of "I" than most normal people One person I met said, as the Bible was modified, satan was given a wrong picture... All in all, a deep subject Grave(in pot hole)

Grave, I think I know what you mean. After all Lucifer WAS an angel that thought independently and questioned God's reasons. I'd think we all question each other, until we're proven that the other person's actions are justified. It's all about learning, right? But then again, the Bible's central message is to trust God and not think independently (read=question).
*edit: Lucifer = bringer of light. Quite interesting, isn't it? Free thinking brings us understanding = brings us light. And casts us away from paradise? I don't think so!
